The government of Canada collects data on Income, Employment, Education, Family, Culture, Housing, Health and Justice. This data is used to help demonstrate whether existing programs and policies are properly designed and resourced, and if there are program and policy gaps that must be addressed.
The following figures are found in the Indigenous Services Canada annual report to Parliament 2020.
