‘You Want Me to Feel Curious and Compassionate About Them?!’

One aspect of the “Loving Kindness” meditation is to cultivate compassion for a difficult person. That’s not always easy. I find becoming curious helps me access compassion in a way that has integrity. Come find out how.

Rev. Meg Roberts will be starting her eighth year as part-time consulting minister with the Comox Valley Unitarian Fellowship. This fall, Meg starts a 1/2-time consulting ministry with the Beacon Unitarian Church as well. She lives here in Vancouver, is a member of this congregation, and also does a community ministry using creativity and the arts in spiritual exploration and community and social transformation.

As part of that work last winter, she was in the BC and Alberta tour of Theatre for Living's forum play šxʷʔamət (home) which explored what true and honourable reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians looks like.
