Join a zoom forum with representatives from all 4 Metro Vancouver Unitarian congregations sharing their enthusiasm and experience with reducing waste, and particularly single-use plastics, from their lives.
We call it Ordinary People Making a Difference Every Day. We’ll each share our own favorite tips for leading a (near) zero-waste life from DIY cleaning products to pee wipes!
The UCV Zero Waste Circle meets monthly on the 3rd Sunday in person at UCV, usually in the Family Room, in the Administration Building. We support and encourage each other to lessen waste.
Along with the other 3 metro Vancouver congregations, UCV’s team is focusing on reducing plastic in particular for the next few months.
We’ll also introduce you to the Plastic-Free July web resources and a template for contacting grocery stores about their plastic packaging.
