November 5th on zoom  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88090897070

The book for November is Katharine Hayhoe’s Saving Us. http://www.katharinehayhoe.com/ Marcia Stephenson from North Shore Unitarian will present the ideas from the book and moderate discussion.

Shelley Hrdlitschka will provide a short preview of the anthology All We Can Save.

More info on NSUC Environmental Action Team webpage;

One of many youtube interviews: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVjmGVufADk

The discussion will be facilitated by Marcia Stephenson and/or Shelley Hrdlitschka of North Shore Unitarians.

Description: The most important thing we can do to address climate change is talk about it– and Hayhoe wants to teach you how. She argues that when it comes to changing hearts and minds, facts are only one part of the equation. We need to find shared values in order to connect our unique identities to collective action. Drawing on interdisciplinary research and personal stories, Hayhoe leaves us with the tools to open a dialogue with your loved ones about how we all can play a role in pushing forward for change.

Reading the book in advance is encouraged but not required.

If larger than 8 people, part of the time will be spent in smaller breakout room discussion groups.
RSVP to [email protected] appreciated.
