Unitarians from all four metro Vancouver congregations will join the Walk for Reconciliation on September 24.
We have a meet-up location for all 4 churches for the Walk for Reconciliation on September 24th: 9:00 am at the Vancouver Playhouse stage door at 601 Cambie Street (at Dunsmuir). The closest skytrain station is Stadium Chinatown.
Please Note that our Truth, Healing, and Reconciliation facilitators for the children’s program are attending this walk and we encourage all families to join us. There will be a Spirit Play class at UCV during the regular RE program for anyone who does attend the 11 am service on the 24th.. The upper elementary students, Coming of Agers and their families are encouraged to attend this walk or meet us at the expo afterwards.

A few details….
The walk begins at 9:30 a.m. at Cambie and Georgia. We’ll be walking 2 km to Strathcona Park where there will be a Reconciliation Expo.
Rev. Samaya Oakley (South Fraser) and Rev. Emily Hartlief (North Shore) will be participating in the walk.

Gather at Strathcona Park for the Reconciliation Expo, featuring a series of Indigenous and multi-cultural performances and a keynote speech.
