Vancouver Unitarians to mark Sept. 21 UN International Day of Peace

Tue, Sep 21, 2021 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Tuesday, Sept. 21, Noon to 1p.m.

This Tuesday is United Nations International Day of Peace! Please join us at the corner of 49th & Oak from Noon to 1pm to show that Vancouver Unitarians support the quest for peace. Join us!

From the plight of refugees in Afghanistan, to the Canadian arms deal with Saudi Arabia, and to the urgent need for action on nuclear proliferation – there are many reasons to demonstrate our commitment to peace once again this year.

Bring a sign, or just bring yourself – we’ll have some materials for those who want to make their own sign! We’ll be following current protocols on masks and distancing along the south side of 49th and the east side of Oak.
