The Unitarian Church of Vancouver, North Shore Unitarian Church and the South Fraser Unitarian Congregation are co-hosting the first pilot of the Canadian Unitarian Council’s Truth, Healing and Reconciliation Reflection Guide (THRRG) for youth. This THRRG is in the form of a weekend youth con and will run from 6 p.m. on Friday, February 28 to 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020. Youth and advisors from across the BC region are welcome to attend.
The program uses the CBC’s 8th Fire television series and creative activities to explore the many aspects of reconciliation. We are inviting an Indigenous Educator to work with us for part of this Con and there will be an opportunity for participants to brainstorm with their youth groups about reconciliation projects they could take part in in their home communities.
