Cayla Naumann is a Biologist who has been living near the Salish Sea for 20 years. She is super excited to have in-ground garden space this year after several years of balcony gardening. She looks forward to growing more native plants, banishing invasive plants and luring the birds and bees with delicious garden delicacies. She values community, compassion and caring for the earth and all its creatures. She tries to reduce, reuse and recycle where she can, and is excited and passionate for getting people involved in zero waste and living kindly on Earth. Her favorite activities include biking, gardening and generally being outdoors and active. For cozy at home activities, Cayla enjoys sewing and other crafting activities and has recently started some woodworking.

Thank you to Vancouver Foundation and Marpole Neighbourhood House for funds to support this workshop through a Neighbourhood Small Grant.

Meet in Lindsey-Priestley, Hewett Centre, Vancouver Unitarian Centre, 949 West 49th at Oak.
