Summer Solstice on the Labyrinth
Herbal Teas, Plant Swap, Labyrinth Walk
FREE! All welcome for a seasonal ritual celebrating the return of summer. We welcome friends and neighbours to share plants on our Garden Path labyrinth. Bring something to swap—or just bring yourself. We are especially wanting more thyme!
Free Herbal Tea and lots of herbs to give away.
Thanks to the Vancouver Foundation and South Vancouver Neighbourhood House for supporting this event.
Seasonal ritual. In a circle we will honour the changing of the season through a ritual (casting a circle, calling directions).
Come early and help set-up if you can. The ritual will start promptly at 2:30 and go to 3 pm. We’ll cast a circle, call in the four directions and walk/dance the labyrinth!
Coordinated by Mary Bennett and Sandy Riecken of the Labyrinth Team.
This is the first of several events to be held before the end of October. Contact us by email if you’d like to receive email notifications about future events.
If you can distribute info to your friends and neighbours, we’d be pleased to send a brochure and poster to you.
We will be hosting a workshop on using herbs for teas, culinary supplements etc.
Unitarians draw on six sources for our religion. The sixth source recognizes earth-centred spiritual traditions. These celebrations borrow from both neo-pagan and Unitarian traditions..
