Walk the Labyrinth and Remember

Sun, Jun 19, 2022 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

It’s a year since our installation and orange-flower planting to focus on the unmarked graves verified by technology.

We, the labyrinth team, invite you to come and plant an orange flower (or seed) and walk in silence as you consider what we can do in support of Indigenous peoples.

Here’s the article from last year  Remember the Children.

Brought to you by UCV’s IPA team (IBPOC Plus Allies) – Mary Bennett, coordinator [email protected]

Yvonne Marcus has grown some orange flower seedlings (marigolds) and will be at the entrance to offer you a “pocket thought” (inspirational reading to consider as you walk) and a seedling to plant- along with your intentions.

We are also on a path to “decolonize” the grounds by adding more native plants and removing invasive species. Mary will set up a table with information about native plants and butterflies.
