Labyrinth (Fremlin Street entrance)
We have activities for kids (and all ages) for World Labyrinth Day. Between 4 and 5:30 pm, there will be flower crowns, a wish tree and also crayons, pastels and paper for any who want to create a piece of art inspired by the flowers in the labyrinth. Pat will be painting on the labyrinth and then assisting kids with making art at 3pm. Herbal tea served around 3 pm as well – you can pick your own herbs and add hot water or enjoy what Sandy and Tim will be preparing.
May the 4th is Star Wars Day! Celebrate a galaxy far, far away! Kids might enjoy the “light sabres” (bubble wands) we have. Walk (or run) the labyrinth while making bubbles.
Jodie Miller will facilitate making flower crowns for May Day/Beltane.
We’ll set up a Wishing Tree – write a wish and let it blow in the May winds.
Chalk is available for those who want to learn to draw a labyrinth–and, of course, kids are encouraged to walk/skip/run through the labyrinths.
Childcare is available while parents are on site for young ones.
Register by contacting Kiersten to ensure we have adequate coverage.
