Enjoy an evening of Syrian food, pictures, and stories about the journey as well as live Syrian music. Tickets are $50 and you will receive a tax receipt for a portion of the ticket cost ($25). Background: Our Refugee Committee has sponsored a refugee family of 5 from Syria, and although the family is now living in Vancouver, they are still transitioning and are in need of more financial support. Tapestry, where Hanno Pinder lives will be hosting a fundraiser dinner in support of this family.
