The production of meat and other animal products makes huge demands on land and water resources worldwide, and contributes substantially to warming our climate.  Including less animal products in our diets is one of the most powerful ways in which we can personally contribute to reining in climate change.

Dave Steele will highlight the environmental impacts of meat production, and then Denise Swanson will outline simple, nutritious strategies for reducing, or eliminating, meat and other animal products in our daily meals.  Both Dave and Denise have deep experience in these topics, and are well-known to UCV.
