Our bylaws need to be changed before we can implement electronic voting. Therefore the Board has decided that we will hold an informational forum in June and postpone the EGM until the fall when we will have our bylaws amended and/or the pandemic restrictions will be listed.
Instead, on June 14 at 12:30 pm, the UCV Board of Trustees will host a zoom information forum on the proposed budget for next year which the members will ratify (or not) in the fall. The Board will also be discussing possible next steps in the Redevelopment process which would involve engaging Canada Land Trust in conversation as our possible new partners.
Topics to be covered in the forum:
- presentation of the draft budget for 2020/21
- report on the search for an Interim Minister
- presentation of the business plan for the redevelopment by Catalyst, and a discussion on whether we want to begin discussions with CLT
- presentation of the final report from the Financial Sustainability Task Force
