Take Me With You
Cassy Welburn is presenting her story, Take Me With You, (launched in Calgary’s Inner City Stories series) as a tribute to her late brother, who died on the streets. It explores the life of a homeless person and his sister in story vignettes and song. Proceeds from the sale of the chapbook will be donated to Lookout Housing Society of Vancouver.
Cassy is a Calgary storyteller and writer whose work has appeared in literary journals and on CBC radio. She was Storyteller on Tour for the 2013 TD Canadian Book Centre and her book of storytelling through poetry, Changelings, is available from Frontenac House Press. Cassy is a member of the Unitarian Church of Calgary.

Forums are offered 12:30-1:30 pm (Unless otherwise posted) from September to June.
