Working with Breeze – for committee chairs and small group leaders

This session is for Vancouver Unitarians to learn more about how to effectively use Breeze database for administration of a group or committee.

Leaders in the other three Metro Vancouver Unitarian congregations (Beacon, North Shore and South Fraser) are also invited to attend.

This is for people who are committee chairs or leaders of groups such as covenant groups etc.

Topics will include

  • creating events; checking people in; reviewing reports of attendance
  • tagging people, adding people to your “tag” (group); adding new people not yet in database
  • sending emails to your group members
  • creating a directory for your group.

Note: This is NOT a Breeze Basics workshop.

Prerequisite: access, change own data, upload photo, send email through Breeze, access online directory. Contact congregational administrator if you need assistance.

Janni Kretlow

Janni has over 30 years of office management experience, including six years as Church Administrator at the North Shore Unitarian Church (NSUC). In 2017, NSUC launched Breeze with Janni as its Administrator. She has trained all of NSUC Breeze’s users, and continues to unfold various aspects of Breeze to church members, leaders, and staff.  In her workshop, Janni will share tips and tricks that will be especially helpful to committee chairs and small group leaders. She will include time for Q & A at the end of the session.
