October 29th: Annual Ancestor Shrine creation.
Come and visit the Ancestor Shrine immediately after church service.
Each year at the end of October our children create an ancestor remembrance shrine in the Meditation Room. We learn of the observance of Samhain, All Soul’s Day, and other traditions of honoring our ancestors, reflecting on the sources of our life, and honoring the memory of our loved ones. All who wish to bring a photograph or memento for the ancestors altar are welcome to. There will be a basket inside the door of the meditation room before the service.
