Activists Across Ages Evening

Fri, Jan 20, 2017 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Location
Hewett Centre

The Environment Committee (cosponsored by the SJC) is working with young local environmental and social justice activists to put on an evening of food, entertainment and relationship building. We want to bridge the generation gap and hear from people involved in today’s grassroots work as well as talk about what worked (and what didn’t) in the big social movements of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. In today’s uncertain world, we are stronger together than apart!

If you would like to meet new people, if you would like to talk about your past experiences, if you would like to take part in a fun thought-provoking evening, or if you would just like to see what kind of people are involved in the Environment and Social Justice Committees, we want you to come! We will provide a vegetarian main course but invite guests to bring an appetizer or dessert to share.

Childcare will be available. Space is limited.

To reserve a spot, please email Tamiko Suzuki tamiko.l.suzuki@gmail.com
