Labyrinth in Spring

Hello friend and Happy Imbolc/Early Spring

Welcome to the monthly e-newsletter for earth spirit gatherings at the Unitarian Centre. This Sunday we'll have some circle dances related to early spring and on Tuesday there's an earth spirit circle to celebrate Imbolc and Brigid's Day at 6 pm and then an evening of circle dances starting at 7 pm.

As well as our regular circle dance and earth spirit/pagan rituals, this month I've included several of the events sponsored by the UCV's Environment committee or the Reconciliation Network. Unitarians are typically very active in social responsibility issues. There are many ways to show reverence for the earth--from circle dancing, labyrinth walking, to reading, discussing, standing up with others to protect the land. I hope to see you at some of these events.
I'm thinking of starting a study group to explore the collection of C. G. Jung's work called "The Earth Has a Soul." If you're interested, contact me. The editor recommends only reading one chapter at a time and letting it sink in, so perhaps a simple format would be a monthly zoom conference with each of us sharing a favorite passage and a few reflections. (Canadian Unitarians are embracing the idea of book clubs via zoom, especially appealing to those who don't have flowers blooming at this time of year!)

The Garden Path Labyrinth has many snowdrops coming up and soon there will be a variety of blooms forming. Are you interested in being part of a team that gardens--weeds, rakes, moves, fertilizes--the labyrinth? The growing season will be coming soon and help is needed.
You can sign up, unsubscribe or change your email address or choices here.
Hope to see you soon!

Imbolc - How to Celebrate Early Spring
