Hello and Welcome to September, Friend

A brochure arrived in my mail box recently proclaiming a "BACK TO IT" sale. September is certainly back to it, whether it's school, university or just back to a more normal routine.
At UCV, our minister Rev. Steven Epperson returns after two months on vacation and professional development leave. Many (but not all) of the committees and regular gatherings also took a vacation in July and August and the momentum is growing. I believe I've noticed more visitors over the past couple of weeks, too. Please, as you get back to it, greet your friends--and also look around for those you haven't met yet. Here's a small portion of what's on our website about news and upcoming events.

Here are some possible ingredients from the labyrinth and garden grounds. Sandy …

Prepare for Pride (2019 and beyond)

Pride in Vancouver happens right smack in the middle of the summer. So although we at UCV are very proud of the fact we were officially certified as a Welcoming congregation for BGLTQ folk way back in 1995, we sometimes forget about planning to celebrate Pride Week. Last year when we did a vision survey, one of the comments struck …

Magic Arrives... Harry Potter Camp at Vancouver Unitarian campus was a huge success this summer. How do I know?
