Herbology at Hogwarts' Summer Camp

Among the activities the kids did who attended our first annual Hogwarts' Summer Camp was a course in Herbology. All four houses made an echinacea tincture using plants from our garden, apple cider vinegar and mason jars.  It's "cooking" as we speak. Outdoors or Hitschmanova Room (North entrance downstairs near parking lot, past the vegetable garden)
All welcome. While RSVP is appreciated as it helps us plan, you can be spontaneous and just drop in if you wish.

Seasonal Ritual with Circle Dance

Usually the Sunday nearest the solstice, equinox or cross-quarter day (Do check as on occasion these are moved to a different date.) Starts 12:30 or 1 pm usually.

Note: Some people stay and enjoy lunch together and a contemplative collage group from 2 - 4 pm. All welcome.

Kiersten Moore - Herbology Teacher

Kiersten is our Director of Children's and Youth Religious Exploration. At the recent (first annual) Hogwarts Summer Camp, Kiersten taught the herbology classes. Helping kids make echinacea tincture as well as exploring the various herbs and "weeds" around the congregation's grounds that can be used for salves and "potions".
