Happy Thanksgiving, Friend
The sun is lower on the horizon these days and those of us who garden are pulling up our crops. The UCV vegetable gardens still have a lot growing--chard, green onions, parsley, kale and various herbs--that will go into Love Soup offerings over the winter. We made it through September and already the winter celebration season is peeking at us past the Hallowe'en / Samhain events coming up.

Why White Poppies on November 11?

Vancouver Peace Poppies was started in 2008 with 50 handmade white poppies and now distributes over 4000 poppies annually across Canada.
