Trans Day of Remembrance – Nov 20

We will be acknowledging Trans Day of Remembrance on Sunday, November 18, and encouraging members to join other Unitarians at this event.  For Sunday morning, we hope to have our new Trans flag displayed and will have various buttons, pins and bracelets to offer by donation to cover costs from the Flag Shop. (Additional donations will go to support more initiatives.)

Remember Trans Day of Remembrance – November 20

Join us this year in closing the Trans Week of Resilience with the annual Trans Day of Remembrance. Each year, hundreds of trans and gender nonconforming people are murdered, especially trans women of colour. This event seeks to bring attention to the violence faced by marginalized trans people around the world, and to set intention in honouring their lives.
