World Labyrinth Day

Sat, May 4, 2019 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Location
Labyrinth (Fremlin Street entrance)

Save the Date! Mark May 4 on your calendar for World Labyrinth Day. This is always the first Saturday in May.

Tara Bonham will play her harp between 2:30 and 3 pm – on the Garden Path labyrinth if weather permits and if it’s nice enough to walk but not for a harp, inside in the alcove while people walk the courtyard labyrinth.

Mary’s Maze painted by Jackie Conradi-Robertson on May 6, 2018. acrylic on canvas.

Pat MacBain will once again paint – and we invite others to bring their easels, canvases and paints and join her. We will provide crayons, pastels and paper for any who want to create a piece of art.

May the 4th is also Star Wars Day!  Celebrate a galaxy far, far away!

Join Mary Bennett and friends for a World Labyrinth Day event at UCV. We’ll invite friends and neighbours to come and walk our two labyrinths and, if person-power allows, perhaps other activities such as a workshop or herbal tea reception etc.

The theme for World Labyrinth Day is: “Walk as One at One” for World Labyrinth Day. People all over the world will be walking labyrinths at 1 pm local time.

There will be experienced labyrinth enthusiasts available if you’d like to know more about the history and practice of labyrinth walking.

We are registered as a walk with Jane’s Walk Vancouver.

Interested in being involved with our labyrinths, whether gardening or teaching or serving herbal tea? Contact Labyrinth team email (Mary Bennett)

There may be other workshops or gatherings coming. So stay tuned.
