Canada’s National Housing Strategy: Will it Solve the Housing Crisis?
The federal Liberal government describes its National Housing Strategy as a 10-year, $40-billion plan that “will strengthen the middle class, fuel our economy and give more Canadians across the country a place to call home.” However, critics point to growing homelessness and increasingly unaffordability and charge that the plan is seriously deficient in addressing the housing crisis.
Leslie Kemp, Chair, Social Justice, will present.
