Related imageThis group meets monthly to practise and discuss the principles of Compassionate Communication (also known as Nonviolent Communication) as taught by Marshall Rosenberg and in support of the second Unitarian Principle “to affirm and promote justice, equity, and compassion in human relations.

The Compassion Circle was formed in July, 2017, by UCV members who signed up for the Compassion Course Online which started in June 2017. This year-long online course is offered by the New York Center for Nonviolent Communication (NYCNVCand consists of weekly emailed lessons and exercisesThis year’s Compassion Circle is now at capacity. The members follow the weekly online course teachings and practice together monthly.
The Compassion Course Online repeats every year from June to June. Some of the Compassion Circle members are taking the online course for the second or third year, though this is the first year that UCVers have gathered to practice the course teachings together.
